About
The Mason-Dixon Schools for the Deaf Athletic Association is a group of eleven schools for the deaf from throughout the southeastern United States. The association was established to promote cooperation and learning through athletic competition.
Support for the tournament has grown and the number of fans who travel from throughout the southeast to the host school continues to increase. The girls tournament has evolved into an event that is equal in scope and popularity to the boys tournament.
The girls can be proud of the contributions they have made to the history of Mason-Dixon athletics.
Mason-Dixon Pledge
We, the participants in the Mason-Dixon Basketball Tournament, pledge to encourage our teams to play fair.
We promise to have pride in our school and to have respect for all players, cheerteams, coaches, and officials.
We promise to support the tournament with enthusiasm, be humble if we lose, and gracious when we win.
We are all brothers and sisters in competition and we will show that attitude throughout the week.
